The Church of the Sacred Heart is now accepting applications for the Phyllis Scherberger Service Scholarship to be awarded for the 2020-21 academic year. This scholarship, a $1,000.00 grant, is endorsed and funded by the Parish Council to recognize young people in the church community who exemplify Christian values and a commitment to helping others through their service to church, school, and local communities. This program is open to students who:
- will graduate from high school in the Spring of 2021
- are members in good standing at the Church of the Sacred Heart
- are actively practicing their Catholic faith (including regular Mass attendance)
- plan to attend a two or four year college, university, or technical school
- have an exemplary record of church and community service.
