Locally, we will celebrate the memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Norfolk on Wednesday, January 4th at 5:30 PM. All are welcome. For those who are interested, the dress code will be red because red is associated with the Apostles and the Feast of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, with the Roman Pontiff being the first among the apostles. This practice is also preserved from an ancient Byzantine custom where red was customarily used at funerals.
