Last year Sacred Heart was designated by the Elizabeth Project as a Star Business.
This recognition was for the Parish’s efforts to support the Pope’s directives on environmental stewardship.
The Elizabeth River Project also recognizes home owners who are working each day to make the Elizabeth River a cleaner place.
Several Sacred Heart families are already River Star Homes. It is easy to become one.
The requirements can be found at Elizabethriver.org.
Parishioners are encouraged to take the seven simple steps required to become a River Star Home.
